Diagnostic Laboratory Technician I
The Diagnostic Laboratory Technician I, under general supervision, performs routine diagnostic assays, assists in customer service, monitors computers for lab equipment and compiling data. They may provide technical assistance in research projects in the area of small animal gastrointestinal function and disease.
Diagnostic Laboratory Technician II
The Diagnostic Laboratory Technician II, under general supervision, independently performs routine diagnostic assays, operates laboratory equipment for compiling and evaluating data. They may provide technical assistance in research projects in the area of small animal gastrointestinal function and disease.
Diagnostic Laboratory Supervisor I
The Diagnostic Laboratory Supervisor, under direction, supervises staff in operating a specialty laboratory; evaluates, selects, and applies routine diagnostic techniques.
Diagnostic Laboratory Supervisor II
The Diagnostic Laboratory Supervisor II, under direction, supervises staff in operating a diagnostic laboratory.
Coordinates training of lab personnel, resolves client issues, monitors lab for safety and conformance. They may provide technical assistance in research projects in the area of small animal gastrointestinal function and disease.
The Farm Foreman I, under general supervision, supervises and participates in farm work including the care of animals and protection of crops.
The Farrier, under general supervision, removes horseshoes, trims and shoes feet of equine patients and occasional cloven-hoofed species such as cattle. Performs therapeutic shoeing and/or fabrication of specialized shoes or devices; assists senior clinician with surgeries on horse's feet. Veterinary Anesthesia Technician I

Veterinary Interns, under general supervision, are licensed veterinarians who rotate through various veterinary specialty and service areas, usually for a duration of 2 to 4 weeks each. Veterinary Interns are expected to examine, diagnose, treat and manage patients. Veterinary Interns interact with clients (animal owners), teach veterinary students, and generate income for the teaching hospital. The Veterinary Intern internship will last one year.

Veterinary Radiological Technologist I
The Veterinary Radiological Technologist I, under supervision, performs and assists with basic imaging exams within the Radiology department of the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital.
Veterinary Radiological Technologist II
The Veterinary Radiological Technologist II, under general supervision, performs intermediate imaging exams within the Radiology department of the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital. Provides basic training of Veterinary Radiological Technologist I and student technicians, and demonstrates the basic skills of a Veterinary Radiological Technologist I.
Veterinary Radiological Technologist III
The Veterinary Radiological Technologist III, under general supervision, performs advanced imaging exams within the Radiology department of the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital. Provides basic training of Veterinary Radiological Technologist I and II, veterinary students and student technicians. Demonstrates the basic skills of a Veterinary Radiological Technologist II.
Veterinary Radiological Technologist IV
The Veterinary Radiological Technologist IV, under direction, coordinates the activities of and supervises veterinary radiological technical staff. Performs complex imaging exams within the Radiology department of the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital. Utilizes advanced knowledge and skills to provide training and supervision of all imaging staff. Provides assistance to Radiology Supervisor. Demonstrates mastery of the skills of a Veterinary Radiological Technologist III.
Veterinary Residents, under general supervision, trains in the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital under the supervision of board-certified veterinary specialists. Veterinary Residents are expected to examine, diagnose, treat, and manage patients, interact with clients, teach senior veterinary students, and generate income for the teaching hospital. Veterinary Residents train and focus in a specialty veterinary area. The Veterinary Residents residency may last up to 3 years.
Veterinary Technician Assistant
The Veterinary Technician Assistant, under supervision, assists the veterinary technicians in the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) performing a variety of basic functions of limited complexity.
The Veterinary Technician I, under supervision, assists in the treatment of animals admitted to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital under the supervision of a professional staff member or Veterinary Technician II or higher.
Provides assistance to the professional staff and helps to maintain a sanitary and functionally well-organized service within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
The Veterinary Technician II, under general supervision, administers treatments to animals admitted to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital under supervision of the professional staff. Provides clinical assistance to the professional staff and maintains a sanitary and functionally well organized service within the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.
The Veterinary Technician III, under general supervision, provides for and supervises care and treatment of animals admitted to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Provides assistance to the professional staff, instructs veterinary students and subordinate staff in clinical techniques, and oversees the maintenance of the physical area within the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.
The Veterinary Technician IV, under direction, coordinates the activities and supervises the veterinary technical staff assigned within the designated clinical support service area. Provides for and supervises the care and treatment of animals admitted to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Provides assistance to the professional staff, instructs veterinary students in clinical techniques, and oversees and maintains the physical area within the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Provides and supervises the training of techniques, protocols and procedures to new and current staff. Works with other supervisors to identify areas of concern and find solutions to problems.
