Common Processes
HR Liaisons facilitate and provide guidance to department management on HR and payroll-related processes such as hiring, leave, new employee onboarding, performance management, personnel files, terminations and exiting, workplace posters and more. Depending on the employee type—staff, faculty, grad assistant, research, student employee, temp/casual—administration, compliance and approval of key HR-related processes and activities are handled through different offices at Texas A&M University including the Office of the Dean of Faculties, the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies, and the Student Employment Office.
