Flu and Pandemic Outbreaks
Texas A&M University may, on rare occasion, experience a spike of absences attributed to flu-like symptoms or other illness outbreaks. Flu or illness outbreaks in the university community, such as the outbreak attributed to the H1N1 virus during the fall of 2009, raise procedural questions regarding leave administration, university closure, and other matters related to the occurrence.
Human Resources will provide guidance on this page and through other means where necessary during flu or other illness outbreaks.
