The Employee Relations Department (ER) works to align our Business Partners with each College and Division within Texas A&M University. Our role is to provide consultative services and to partner with employees, supervisors, and administrators to enhance operational and organizational effectiveness. A few areas of particular emphasis include formulating, revising and interpreting policies, regulations, rules and standard administrative procedures in conjunction with applicable laws. Additionally, we consult on managing employee performance, developing expectations, progressive discipline, preparing for reorganizations, succession planning and employee relations. Strategic development, organizational planning, training and development, and grievance resolution are also addressed by Employee Relations.
Your Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) is part of an experienced team of resilient human resources professionals in Employee Relations who are ready to align with you to offer knowledge and to guide you in the resolution and management of business and employment practices. Your ERBP will also connect you with the best and most experienced team of human resources professionals within the Division of Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness to move the Colleges and Divisions and ultimately the University forward in the soundest manner.
