Required Training for On-Campus Employees

In accordance with Texas A&M System Regulation 33.05.02, all Texas A&M employees are required to take the courses listed below. Employees may also be required by their department heads and supervisors to complete training based on their job duties.

Unless otherwise noted, required courses can be taken online using TrainTraq, which is accessed through the Single Sign On system.

Required training must be completed at your workstation during your normal working hours unless prior arrangements have been made with your supervisor or Department Head.

Required Online Training Frequently Asked Questions

All employees - full-time employees, student employees, part-time employees, and seasonal or temporary workers - are required to complete trainings upon hire and then repeat them at one-, two-, or four-year intervals.
Texas Labor Code § 21.010. Employment Discrimination Training for State Employees states:
 
“Each employee of a state agency shall attend the training program required by this section not later than the 30th day after the date the employee is hired by the agency and shall attend supplemental training every two years.”

“Each agency should inform all employees of the requirement and possible methods of completing the training.”
Your department’s HR Hub has information on each employee’s training needs and requirements to be completed.
Yes, you will be compensated for your time. Please be certain to report this to your supervisor and record it on your timesheet.
