Wellness Premium Incentive

The Texas A&M University System recognizes the importance of fostering employee wellness. The Wellness Initiative designed to engage employees in healthy behaviors through campus- and agency-based programs encouraging wellness.

Two-Step Wellness Incentive

  • Complete any two (2) wellness activities on your Personalized MyEvive checklist between September 1 and June 30 to receive the lowest rate on your health insurance premium for the next fiscal year.
  • Applies to employees and covered spouses enrolled in the A&M Care Plan.
  • A premium reduction of $30 per month will be applied for each individual (you and your spouse) who completes any two (2) wellness activities by the deadline.
    • If you choose not to participate in the wellness premium incentive, you will not receive the $30 per month premium reduction.
  • Does not apply to retirees; they will automatically receive the lower premium.

Logging into your MyEvive account to check your wellness incentive status

  1. Go to Single Sign-On and click MyEvive.
  2. Click on TAMUS Two-Step card to check your wellness program status
    • Contact MyEvive member services if you believe you have completed activities (such as the wellness exam), but the information is not reflected in your MyEvive account.  
    • Note: Your status will update to ‘Done’ upon Evive’s receipt of your claim from BCBSTX for your exam. Please allow up to 90 days from your date of service for your status to update. The exam is not required, it is but one of the activities you can choose from your MyEvive checklist.

Where to get an exam

  • On-campus Catapult Health Exam
    •  February 1 & 2 and April 5 & 6 at the Memorial Student Center L526 – Register Here
  • Your Primary Care Doctor
    • Inform your doctor's office staff that this is a wellness exam/annual physical for the A&M Care Health Plan to ensure that your visit is coded correctly for insurance purposes. You should not be charged a copay. See details here.
  • Brazos Valley Urgent Care
