  • Discussed proposed changes to student employee title codes
  • Received an update on HR/Payroll replacement project and two-factor authentication for Single Sign-On
  • Reviewed and discussed upcoming changes to the HR Liaison Designation Form, Primary Responsible Office for Human Resources Processes and Typical HR Liaison Duties information
  • Discussed HR Liaison training curriculum and possible changes for upcoming fiscal year

  • Rescheduled for October 10 to allow participation at the Retirement and Financial Planning Fair hosted by HR
  • Discussed Affordable Care Act and its impact on A&M employees/departments
  • Discussed the pros/cons of the current required training compliance reports
  • Reviewed draft ADA accommodation guidelines and forms
  • Asked for volunteers to dig deeper into EPA coding/terms
  • Received demo of PATHways process and tool

  • Reviewed Exit Checklist
  • Discussed wellness/annual exam requirement and corresponding premiums for noncompliance
  • Discussed roll out, communications and training for PATHways (performance management module)
  • Received information on the unemployment claims process; discussed the need for timely information and documentation from the departments

  • Received an update on the Wellness Works initiative and future plans including a possible department-level "wellness liaison"
  • Discussed change management regarding the compensation plan recommendations
  • Reviewed HR Liaison Designation Form updates and potential future steps for protecting identity and security of SSO applications

  • Discussed the System-wide Human Capital Management Project to replace the current Budget/Payroll/Personnel (BPP) system; will not address FAMIS at this time; survey and demos forthcoming
  • Received a demo and overview of the identity agent application for NetIDs; users will require training
  • Discussed options for continued access to TAMU Jobs data and records retention

Closure Meeting, August 5, 2014

  • Reviewed the standard administrative procedure (SAP) related to the President's delegation of authority for Human Resources administration matrix
  • Discussed dual employment situations and coordination between departments; HR offering training; SAP revisions are pending
  • Discussed changed for future HR Liaison Network Meetings including updates to sound system, adjustment to start times and length of sessions, HR town hall Q&A time at conclusion, more networking opportunities
