The Texas A&M University System is replacing various legacy mainframe payroll and human resource systems with one unified system called Workday. Starting December 17, 2017, The A&M System will benefit from Workday’s intuitive, web-based applications with self-service and mobile capabilities.
Login to Workday from the Single Sign-On (SSO) menu.

In preparation for Workday, LeaveTraq will be shut down on December 13 (will be available as read-only) and all incomplete or unapproved leave requests in LeaveTraq will be cancelled. Please ensure that all leave requests in LeaveTraq have been fully approved prior to December 13 or hold for entry into Workday on December 18.

First business day Workday is open for job requisitions to be submitted. HR Liaisons and Managers can access requisition/applicant data in Workday.
- Thurs, December 14 at NOON:
Deadline for critical Biweekly EPAs with actions effective December 17, 2017 and earlier to be IN PAYROLL’S INBOX to guarantee their review and approval. Even though critical Biweekly EPAs (actions that cannot wait until Workday Go Live) can be created in Canopy between November 20, 2017 through December 15, 2017, it will require manual entry into Workday. Please plan ahead and route critical EPAs as soon as feasible; monitor their status to ensure that routing is proceeding in a timely manner. In the event of EPAs needing departmental correction and re-routing back to payroll or late EPA arrival, be aware that Canopy will cancel all incomplete & unapproved EPAs on December 15.

Last day to process employee transactions in Workday for the January 2, 2018 ( monthly pay day). Any employee actions not fully approved by December 20, 2017 will continue in routing for processing no earlier than the next monthly payroll which is February 1, 2018.
- Fri, December 22:
Last day to process employee transactions in Workday for the January 5, 2018 ( biweekly pay day). Any employee actions not fully approved by December 22, 2017 will continue in routing for processing no earlier than the next biweekly payroll which is January 19, 2018.
