HR Liaisons facilitate and provide guidance to department management on HR and payroll-related processes such as hiring, leave, new employee onboarding, performance evaluation, personnel files, terminations and exiting, workplace posters and more. Depending on the classification of the employee — staff, faculty, grad assistant, research, student employee, wage/temp — administration, compliance and approval of key HR-related processes and activities is handled through different offices at Texas A&M University.
