Wellness Premium Incentive

The Texas A&M University System recognizes the importance of fostering employee wellness. The Wellness Initiative includes a two-pronged approach: incentivizing employees to have an annual wellness exam with their physician and to complete a Personalized Checklist wellness task, engaging employees in healthy behaviors through campus- and agency-based programs encouraging wellness.

Two-Step Wellness Incentive  – receive the lowest rate on your health insurance premium

By June 30, complete an annual wellness exam and a second step on your MyEvive Personalized checklist to ensure that you have the lowest rate for your health insurance premiums.

Highlights of the Wellness Incentive:

  • Have a wellness exam and complete a second optional wellness activity between September 1 and June 30.
  • Applies to employees AND covered spouses enrolled in the A&M Care Plan.
  • A premium reduction of $30 per month will be applied for each individual (you and your spouse) who completes the wellness exam and second optional wellness activity by the June 30 deadline.
    • If you choose not to participate in the wellness premium incentive, you will not receive the $30 per month premium reduction.
  • Does not apply to Retirees; they will automatically receive the lower premium.
  • Logging into your MyEvive account to check your incentive status:
    • Go to tamus.myevive.com and login
    • Click on the “Check my wellness incentive” card
    • Contact MyEvive member services if you believe you have completed the exam incentive, but the information is not reflected in your MyEvive account.
      • NOTE:  Please allow up to 90 days from your date of service for your status to update.

Where to get an exam:

  • On-campus Catapult Health Exams
  • Your Primary Care Doctor
    • Inform your doctor’s office staff that this is a wellness exam/annual physical for the A&M Care Health Plan to ensure that your visit is coded correctly for insurance purposes. You should not be charged a copay. Details
  • Brazos Valley Urgent Care
    • No appointment is needed. Details
