Custom Report Request

Human Resources (HR) has a unit dedicated to providing reports and metrics for various HR-related needs, from federal and state reporting requirements and professional organization benchmarking surveys, to university compliance, continuous improvement and diversity interests.

Texas A&M University entities may contact the HR Business Services unit to request employee and other HR-related data from the Texas A&M University System Data Warehouse, the A&M System's Budget/Personnel/Payroll (BPP) database, or from several databases administered by Human Resources for position descriptions, performance evaluations, training records and hiring processes.

Keep in mind the following:

• Certain information is protected under privacy laws, e.g. home address, if an employee chooses to maintain privacy.
• Many reports have been developed over the years in response to requests from departmental management.
• Demographics are best obtained from an employee's official university electronic records. Contact our office for assistance.
• Some reports are quick and easy, while some take more time. Please provide a timeline with your request if there is a hard deadline.

Those external to the university may request data through the open records process. Information on contacts and instructions for requesting information is available through the Division of Risk, Ethics and Compliance.
