FY 2010 Insurance Plan Rates Announced
The Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 Texas A&M health insurance plan rates have been announced and are online
at
http://employees.tamu.edu/docs/benefits/insurance/AM_FY10Premiums.pdf on the Human Resources website.
The chart shows the total monthly premium, the portion paid by the employer and the employee out-of
pocket cost per month. The chart also compares FY 2009 to FY 2010 premiums. New rates will go into
effect September 1, 2009. (Note: The State Group Insurance Premium (SGIP) rates have been approved by
the legislature but are pending approval of the General Appropriations Act by the Governor).
Annual Enrollment, July 1-31, is the time for employees to review their benefits and consider any changes
to make for the FY 2010 plan year. Stay tuned for more information about important Scott & White changes
and life insurance coverage changes for dependents.
