SUMMARY
General Description: Supervises daily service area activities and provides customer support to a service area.
DUTIES
Typical: Supervises daily service area activities; provides training and advice to other support personnel; serves as an information resource for the unit; ensures adherence to policies and procedures within the unit and assists in the development of office procedures; oversees records management; makes recommendations for process improvement or administrative changes; oversees service delivery for unit; resolves customer problems and complaints; adds, verifies, retrieves and changes customer or order information and conducts periodic audits for accuracy; compiles data to prepare correspondence, forms, reports or other documents; performs related duties as required.
SUPERVISION
Received: General instruction and periodic review from administrative supervisor.
Given: Detailed instruction and frequent review of support staff and/or Student Workers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required: High school graduation or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Five years in general office or clerical work.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR REGISTRATION

EQUIPMENT
Typical: Use of standard office equipment and personal computers.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS
