Introduction to Leadership

Overview:

This workshop provides an introduction to leadership theory and application including defining and understanding leadership in the work setting. Participants will be introduced to the five Leadership Practices of Successful leaders that were identified by Kouzes and Posner. Upon completion of this course the participant will understand various perspectives on leadership, his or her own leadership style preferences, and a variety of leadership skills used in supervision. This course is available only to individuals enrolled in the Professional Leadership Program.
