Employee Development (ED) offers a wide variety of workshops designed to assist
employees reach their professional development goals.
The Training Center offers expert computer training in today's popular computer software applications. Special classes for
departments and individual instruction are also available.
The Continuing and Professional Studies Office coordinates high-quality, innovative, continuing education services, including logistics coordination, that enhance professional development, career opportunities, and lifelong endeavors of adult learners.
The Environmental Health and Safety Department regularly offers training on a variety of topics that include Fire Extinguisher, Hazard
Communication, Laboratory Safety, and Radiation Safety. Several other training courses are available, please refer to the EHSD web site.
Conducts Financial Accounting Management Information System (FAMIS) training, and the mandated disbursement class. Travel
training is also offered upon request.
In order to provide students, student employees and employment supervisors with skills for improving effectiveness,
efficiency and quality of life, the Student Employment and Scholarships & Counseling Offices currently offer
many workshops.
Payroll Services offers training on a variety of topics that include payroll training, payroll reports online,
I-9 processing, PAR training and more.
