Texas A&M University Required Employee Training for All New Employees

The University requires all new employees to complete training on certain topics to comply with the Federal Government, State of Texas, Texas A&M University System, and Texas A&M University laws, policies, regulations, rules, and procedures. The training must be completed within the first 30 days of employment. In addition, ALL CURRENT employees including student employees must retake:

  • Information Security Awareness - every year afterward throughout employment
  • Creating Discrimination Free Workplace (EEO) - every two (2) years afterward throughout employment
  • Ethics - every two (2) years afterward throughout employment
  • Reporting Fraud, Waste, and Abuse - every four (4) years afterward throughout employment


All the training courses are available online to make this process easier for you.

The online training must be completed at your workstation during your normal working hours unless prior arrangements have been made with you supervisor or Department Head.
