Electronic Notification of Earnings
SIGN UP NOW FOR ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATION OF EARNINGS!
TAMU employees who participate in direct deposit now have the opportunity to receive details of their earnings and deductions by electronic notification. Employees who choose electronic notification will no longer receive a printed stub, or ACH retainer. In addition to increased efficiency in distribution of pay information, the notification system will eliminate printing, paper and labor costs required to produce and process earnings statements.
Sign up is easy and the change is immediate! Simply follow the steps listed below.
- Go to SSO/HRConnect.
- On HRConnect select "Payroll Data".
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Select "On-line Payroll Earnings Information" and then, "Click to Edit".
- Follow the instructions for verifying your email address and for selecting the option to receive electronic notification.
- Expect a test email message once you have completed your selection.
Following completion of payroll processing by BPP and the loading of payroll information into the HRConnect system, which normally occurs the following day, if you selected electronic notification you will receive an email that directs you to HRConnect. Use your UIN and PIN to access your pay information on HRConnect for that specific pay date.
In addition to electronic notification, HRConnect provides calculators for estimating TRS benefits and net pay, the Form W-2, leave information, and other valuable assistance. Electronic notification is available to biweekly and monthly paid employees, including student workers, who currently participate in Direct Deposit of payroll earnings from TAMU.
Departmental payroll staff will receive a distribution report electronically prior to pay day that lists all employees in the department's pay sequence who are currently on direct deposit. The report will indicate "Email" for employees who did choose electronic notification. Printed earnings statements will not be included for those employees.
