Resources for Texas A&M Employees and Students
Recent world events have heightened the need for safety and
security measures for thousands of Texas A&M University
employees and students who travel internationally.
Second Annual International Travel Support Services Forum
Administrative Services hosted a forum on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 for all faculty, staff, and students to inform them of the support services available for those who travel internationally.
Foreign Travel Itinerary Registration Form
The Foreign Travel Itinerary Registration Form is used to track university administrators, faculty and staff who travel to international destinations on official business or university sponsored trips. The information disclosed on this form may be used by the university to coordinate assistance services should circumstances require it.
The original Foreign Travel Itinerary Registration Form must be submitted to Administrative Services prior to trip departure (see form for details). A copy of this form should be attached to the request for reimbursement to FMO.
Texas A&M University System
Assistance Abroad Program
To assist our Aggie family members, Texas A&M has contracted
with
International SOS, a 24-hour medical*,
travel and security assistance service for faculty, staff
and students who travel to international destinations on official
university business or an A&M sponsored trip. International
SOS manages a wide range of requests ranging from lost passports,
physician referrals, and complex medical and security evacuations.
It is important that Texas A&M employees and students
are aware of the resources available to them for safe and
efficient travel. Visit the links provided on this page to
learn more.
