Market Compensation Strategy

This position has undergone a compensation market review and a minimum rate has been set. Compensation for this position will not be below this rate. Departmental approval is required when utilizing the minimum compensation rate. In addition, to address other factors (e.g., education, experience, skills, etc.) up to an additional 10% of the minimum rate may be used with departmental approval.  

Compensation above the additional 10% requires Vice President approval and a review by Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE). HROE will provide compensation recommendations as needed. The table below outlines approvals required.
