There's a Spirit can ne'er be told..." (excerpt from the song, Spirit of Aggieland)
Texas A&M has a rich history and culture dating from 1876. Today, Aggie culture is one of
a shared responsibility to encourage student organizations and campus community members to help
make our campus a welcoming place for all people. Part of our heritage is the traditions that have
helped to develop character, leadership, unity, and public service among the University’s graduates,
faculty and staff. By learning about these honored traditions you can begin to understand what is
truly meant by "the Spirit of Aggieland."
